Hayley is a Senior Research Officer with the Healing Kids, Healing Families team. She is currently working on a project that seeks to understand the experiences of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people (aged 0 to 18 years) and their families when engaging with mainstream mental health services in the Perth metropolitan area.
Prior to joining the Kids Research Institute Australia, Hayley completed her PhD at the Centre for Mental Health Research at The Australian National University, where her research focused on how young people and adults engage with digital mental health interventions. She has been involved in various projects in psychology, population health, and neurorehabilitation, including research aimed at improving access to intervention and prevention services for individuals experiencing mental health problems and addressing the needs of children affected by parental illness or disability.
